Helicopter EngineeringThe ability of Irish Helicopters aircraft to be efficient and effective in its flying operations relies totally on the Engineering backup provided by its team of Engineering personnel. The Company also provides Engineering services for other helicopter operators and private owners. The management strive to maintain a close working relationship with the Irish Aviation Authority and that of all other Authorities associated with the ongoing demanding changes and requirements within the industry.The company hold maintenance approvals from the European Aviation Safety Agency and the Federal Aviation Administration. Our company are also the only approved Bell Textron approved facility within Ireland. All our aircraft and stock are controlled and monitored with the latest computer based systems. We currently provide maintenance on the following aircraft; Bell 206/407 series, Agusta 109 A/MkII/C/E/S series, Eurocopter 350/120/365/BO105 series aircraft. We also run a training programme for apprentices providing a steady supply of trained experienced Engineers for the continuing expansion for our company. To ensure maximum availability of helicopters, scheduled maintenance is planned around the flying task with work being carried 24 hours a day if required. Un-serviceability in the field is either rectified by on site engineers or by rapid response from an engineering base. This often means the use of a helicopter to fly personnel to the location as required. |
